House Committee on Local Government Members and Contact Info below

Dear Friends of KFIRE,

Senate Bill 6, the Arizona style bill regarding unauthorized aliens in Kentucky, is up for debate in the House Committee on Local Government. Committee members will hear testimony and discuss the bill starting at 12pm Wednesday in room 131 of the Annex Building behind the Capitol.

Your immediate phone calls, faxes, and emails are urgently needed to all committee members, Tuesday and Wednesday. Let me briefly explain what we would like you to do. Please remain calm, be brief, and clear about your support of SB 6. Ask the Legislator to vote for this bill.

*(Effective) For those who don't have the time to make many calls:*
Call the Legislative Message Line 1-800-372-7181
Give your name and address to the LRC person taking your call. Please be polite and courteous and thank them.
Tell them you'd like your message to go to all the members of the House Committee on Local Government.
The message is: "Please vote for SB 6. We need this law in Kentucky."

*(More Effective) **For those who can spend more time calling:
*Call the Legislative Message Line 1-800-372-7181
Give your name and address to the LRC person taking your call. Please be polite and courteous and thank them.
Tell them you'd like your message to go to Rep. Steve Riggs, Rep. Mike Denham, and Rep. Adam Koenig
The message is: "Please vote for SB 6. We need this law in Kentucky."
Call 4 more times, each time giving the names of three representatives on the list below.
This technique assures that your message will be placed on a green card and put on the Representative's desk. Doing them all at once may only result in a bulletin board notice.

*(Most Effective) **For those who have time to call or fax or email:*
Call each Committee member on the list below using the number given.
Ask to speak with the Representative or his or her secretary.
Tell them your name. (Give them your address if requested.)
Be very polite and courteous and ask the Representative to vote for SB 6.
Then, ask the person if the Representative is planning to support SB6 or not. Write down exactly what they tell you.
Thank them for their time.
Email this information to me, doug@kfire.us This will help us to know who is for or against or undecided.

*(Super)
Email* each representative a personal note asking for their support of SB 6. Include your name, address, and phone number, and email address. If you don't already know by a phone call, ask their current position on SB 6.
Relay that information to me doug@kfire.us
*Fax *those that have fax numbers. You may also use the main fax number: 1-502-564-6543. Note on the top of the fax that you would like a copy to go to each member of the House Committee on Local Government. Ask for their "yes" vote for SB 6. Tell them why. Always be courteous and respectful. Include your contact information.

*(Lobbyist)*
Go to Frankfort and walk the halls of the Annex with a list of office room numbers to visit these representatives. I will try to find someone to go with you or, if possible, go with you myself. Go here to obtain easily printable copies of the bill and fact sheets: http://kfire.us

Call me  with any questions or information you'd like to share. I will be in Frankfort on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Please leave a message if you don't get through to me.
Thank you so much! May the Lord bless you! If you believe in prayer, by all means, pray for us, for our Representatives, and that all of our efforts might be successful.

Yours truly,
Douglas Roy
KFIRE President
